Wild Card Round

M&TBank Stadium, Baltimore, MD (Ravens 24, Colts 9, Ravens win big in Ray Lewis’s final home game. To advance and play the Broncos): This was a game that ended with a expected result. What I mean by that was despite all the drama that surrounded the game. Most people had the Ravens picked to take home the victory at the end of the day.  And they did exactly that the Colts came and tried to look as if they belonged in the playoffs but at the end of the day the Ravens experience and skill was just too much for the young team. They will be back but it was nice to see them get the experience in Luck’s first season…

Fed Ex Field, Landover, MD (Seahawks 24, Redskins 14, Seahawks dominate as they send RGII to the sidelines and the Redskins home and now head to Atlanta): This was the one game that I got wrong. A weekend of perfection ruined by Russell Wilson and those darn Seattle Seahawks. They didn’t just ruin my weekend they ruined what was a sweet story with what was going on in DC and replaced it with a better story of a young man who put a team on his 5’10” shoulders and carried them into the promise land and looks to bring home a Lombardi trophy. Now to the game the Redskins jumped out early and it looked like it was going to be a blowout. Then Seattle’s defense settled down and took control of the game as they offense began to find its groove. The Seahawks have knocked off 1 higher seed and now travel to Atlanta to shoot for two…
