Wild Card Preview: Saturday’s Wild Card Round Games…

Wild Card Weekend
Sat. 4:30pm EST, #6 Cincinnati Bengals (10-6)(WC) vs. #3 Houston Texans (12-4)(AFCS): We open wild card weekend with a hard to call game. One team is on a downward spiral (Texans) while the other is on their way up (Bengals). But this battle will really be about the two men pictured above. Andy Dalton and Matt Schaub. In recent weeks both men seem to be heading in different diurections. But I think that the Bengals defense will hold serve in Houston but it will be the Texans defense who will shine in the Heart of the state that dose everything big. They will harass Andy Dalton all day and even “The Lawfirm” wont be able to get the ball rolling as I have Houston advancing and taking on the Patriots in the divisional round…

Final Score: Texans 17, Bengals 10

Sat. 8:00pm EST, #6 Minnesota Vikings (10-6)(WC) vs. #3 Green Bay Packers (11-5)(NFCN): This one was a “third time’s a charm” game for two teams that split their regular season meeting and in both of those meetings one thing was consistent Adrian Peterson and Aaron Rodgers the 2 of them went off against the opponents defense in both meetings this year. With Peterson falling 9 yards short against the Packers of breaking Erick Dickerson’s record for rushing yards in a season. Even with this motivation the Viking will fall short the Packers will be returning too many key players and are looking to make a run in the playoffs. But for now I am seeing them going to San Francisco for a rematch of the Week 1 game in Green Bay…

Final Score: Packers 24, Vikings 17
