10:00 AM PST Georgia Dome, Atlanta, GA (Falcons 30, Seahawks 28, Falcons advance to 3rd Conference Championship game in franchise history.): The Falcons came into this game needing a win. They were 0-3 in previous trips to the playoffs. And were looking to get the proverbial monkey off their back. The Seahawks came in as one of the hottest teams in the league having just ran all over the 49ers just weeks before and a big comeback victory over the Redskins the previous week. The Falcons came out hot and shutout the Seahawks during the 1st half of the game. The Seahawks came out and made the necessary adjustments in the 2nd half to put points up on the board and even took a late lead. But they left too much time on the clock and the Falcons took advantage of their 2 remaining timeouts to get into position and kick the game winning FG to advance to the NFC championship game…


1:30 PM PST Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, MA (Patriots 41, Texans 28, The Patriots continue to roll on as they stomp the Texans for the 2nd time this year.): The Patriots came into the game looking to get back to defend their AFC Championship Title at home. They cam out and abused the Texans defense in dare I say new ways as the Texans looked like children on the field. Tom Brady looked like Joe Montana out there as he passed Joe Montana on the all time list for most playoff victories. He went on a roll so that the Patriots could just abuse a team for the 2nd time this season. The Patriots put up a total of 86 points to the Texans 31 (28 in this game). But the Texans thought something different they thought they were going to just compete and try to pull it out in the end. But the Patriots had a different idea they came out and took control of the game and ran away with it…
