Divisional Round
1:30PM PST #4
Baltimore Ravens (11-6)(AFCS) at #1 Denver Broncos (13-3)(AFCW): This is a
game that will be a true test of the Broncos offense and the Texans defense. I
know that these two teams met in the regular season and the Broncos ran away
with the game 34-17 in Baltimore. I also know that this game will played in
Denver a tough place to play for most teams in the NFL. But this game will be a
battle for the Broncos and the Ravens will be better than they played in Week
15. But overall this is a battle between Peyton Manning and the Broncos defense
and a battle that I am going to watch on Saturday…
Final Score: Broncos
28, Texans 21
5:00PM PST #3 Green
Bay Packers (12-5)(NFCN) at #2 San Francisco 49ers (11-4-1)(NFCW): This is
a rivalry that dates back to the late 90’s. The Packers have dominated the
49ers 4 out of the 5 times they have met in the playoffs (1998 Wild Card being
the only win). They had beaten the 49ers 8 straight times at Lambau Field
leading up to this season. In week 1 the 49ers went into Lambau and faced a
healthy Packers team and managed to beat them 30-22. Snapping the 8 game losing
streak in Green Bay. Now they can hopefully beat them at home the sight of their
last playoff victory over the Packers. But we will all tune in Saturday to see
one of the NFL’s greatest post season rivalries be renewed…
Final Score: 49ers
24, Packers 17
