NFL Conference Championship Round Preview: Championship Sunday…

Conference Championship Round

AFC Championship Game: #4 Baltimore Ravens (12-6)(AFCS) at #2 New England Patriots (13-4)(AFCE):This was a game that was tough to call. The Patriots come in hot and looking to continue their playoff roll.  The Ravens come in riding high on Ray Lewis’s “Last Ride”.  The Patriots embarrassed the Texans for the 2nd time this season to get back to the AFC title game. The Ravens toppled the #1 seed Broncos to get back to the Championship game and look to do the same to the #2 Patriots. I personally think that the Ravens have a fighting chance but at the end of the day The Patriots will be too much on offense and just enough on defense to advance to their 2nd straight Super Bowl…

Final Score: Patriots 35, Ravens 24

NFC Championship Game: #2 San Francisco 49ers (12-4-1)(NFCW) at #1 Atlanta Falcons (14-3)(AFCS): The NFC Championship game will be played in a different location this year (Atlanta) but is returning at least one team (49ers) from last year. The Falcons got a gigantic monkey off of their back as they got their 1st playoff win of the Matt Ryan/ Mike Smith era. But ultimately I think It will Colin Kapernick and the 49ers offense against the weak Falcons run defense that is going to decide this game. I think tha the will just enough to get the 49ers to the promise land against the Patriots in just 2 weeks…

Final Score: 49ers 28, Falcons 24
