1/20/13 12:00PM PST Georgia Dome, ATL (49ers 28, Falcons 24, The 49ers get a big second half from Kapernick and the defense to advance to their 6th Super Bowl in franchise history.): This was a game that was a classic case of “A tale of 2 halves” in the 1st half Matt Ryan and the Falcons looked like they were going to dominate the 49ers defense. They scored at will and made the 49ers secondary look plain silly in the process. Julio Jones went for over 100 yards and a TD in the 1st Quarter alone. But as the half crept closer the 49ers offense began to start firing on the right cylinders. As they did the defense began to find its bearing and in the 2nd half both sides of the ball took control of the game and the 49ers won their 6th NFC championship and advanced to the Super Bowl, where they would face the winner of the AFC Championship game…



1/20/13 2:30PM PST Foxboro Stadium, MA (Ravens 28, Patriots 13, Tom Brady and Co. fall short of back to back Super Bowl as the Ravens continue LB Lewis’s career for one more game.): The Ravens came into this game on a major high as they had just knocked off the Broncos in Denver the week before and seemed to be on a roll for Ray Lewis’s “Last Ride” and I will be the 1st to admit I never saw this coming. I figured going into this game that the Patriots offense would just be too much for the Ravens battered defense. Instead that same Ravens defense dominated the Patriots on both sides of the ball. Tom Brady looked lost and Joe Flacco looked like a king as the Ravens stepped up to the plate to give the world what it wanted the 1st ever Harbowl…
