Double K’s Top 5 Players snubbed from the HOF in 2012 - #3 Cubs OF Sammy Sosa…

#3 Chicago Cubs OF Sammy Sosa (Votes: 71 (12.5%))(AVG: 273, HR’s: 609, RBI’s: 1667, Hits: 2408)(7X All Star, 6X Silver Slugger Award, 1X NL MVP): With this one I can say that I understand a little bit why no one wants Sammy Sosa in the Hall of Fame. He may have been nice to the people that were close to him but he wasn’t much of an ambassador to the game after he was accused of 1st corking his bat… and 2nd taking steroids… But overall he had a pretty great career and basically helped revive the game after the strike year. But just because he brought fans back by the droves to many ballparks around the nation, his 609 HR’s were impressive to watch and in my mind the make him a 1st ballot hall of famer. But I can guarantee that this man will be on this list every year of his eligibility until he is eligible no more. This year he is number 3 on my list…
