#5 San Jose Sharks (43-29-5, 96pts, 2^nd Pacific Division, 7^th Western Conference)

Reason’s to Watch: The fact that the Sharks made a couple of off-season trades of what seemed like key players from runs in seasons past. But as for last season the Sharks were a team that came hot out the gate after dominating the Western Conference for the better part of the previous two season and coming up short in the post season twice. This year looked to be a little different because they went into the post season on a slide and even though they made it out of the 1^st round they were demolished by the Canucks and made to look average at best. But this year they have gotten younger and stronger and look to be a team that can get some things done in the regular and post seasons. So keep your eye on the Sharks because they are my #5 team to watch in 2013…
