Double K’s 2012-13 NFL Awards: Rookie(s) of the Year (Offense/Defense)…

Happy New Year from 4ACES Network and the boys at West Coast Bias
This award is the overall award and so I looked at it and decided to myself that I would not follow the same formula as the NFL for these awards and as such I will most likely be the complete opposite of what will happen in real life. But these are my awards so I can give them to whomever I want to I guess. First up is Offensive POY and to me that was Andrew Luck and I can explain it like this. By drafting Kirk Cousins the Redskins set themselves up top be successful regardless of what happened with RGIII. So basically what I am saying is even without RGIII the Redskins are still a 8-8 ,9-7 team. Now on the other hand the Colts without Luck are a 4-6 win team that to me speaks even more wonder to them being a 11 win team and that is mostly because of him. As for Wagner he was just the final piece of a solid puzzle for the Seahawks. That has them finishing 11-5 and competing with the 49ers for the division title and the #2 seed in the NFC…
2012-13 NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year (Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck): This man has been nothing but professional. The entire year he has just quietly been over in Indy taking over for a future HOFer. He came in as the #1 pick in the draft, a lot of people would think that is enough pressure. But no you add on that Luck had to deal with the emotional side of his coach going down with Leukemia and the team gelling together and ending up getting the Colts back to 10 win team. The Colts are in the playoffs and have an actual chance at making some noise. This to me is the 3rd greatest story of the year (Petersons Knee and Manning’s neck are 1-2) and this man is at the center of it all….
2012-13 NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year (Seattle Seahawks LB/DE Bobby Wagner): Eventhough Wagner’s story isn’t as flashy as Lucks or has as much drama and heartache. But Bobby has been a major part of the Seahawks defensive roster. He has provided pressure from multiple sides all season long. And has been a major part of the lineup all season long and looks to be an anchor for the playoffs. So keep an eye on Bobby Wagner and the Seattle Seahawks because they are going to be competing for division and for Super Bowl titles for years to come. But for now he is Double K’s Defensive Player os the Year….
