In the NFC and AFC there were a lot of great wide receivers A
Johnson(HOU) and Wes Welker (NE), Larry Fitzgerald (ARI). But there was only
one that was about to break the GOAT Jerry Rice’s almost 30 year old record for
receiving yards in a season. That honor is held by Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson.
As for the Best O-Lineman I changed it to best Offensive Line because the
O-Line of the New York Giants has been shielding Eli Manning from any brutal
hits even against the vaunted 49ers defensive line and the NFC DPOY candidate Aldon
Smith. So for that they…well just read it….
2012-13 NFC Best Wide
Receiver (Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson): Once again I am giving the
award to Calvin Johnson. He has been at his best all season long and he only needs
184 yards in 2 games in order to break Jerry’s record. I think that is going to
be very easy for him to do it in this pass happy league. He has a QB who can
really sling the ball and you can expect him to go after the career yards
record as well. But for now he is Double K’s NFC Best WR….
2012-13 NFC Best
Offensive Line (New York Giants OL): If I have to explain to you why I have
chosen these 5 guys then you have not been watching football. I will give you
one number and as a good friend says at ESPN. Numbers Never Lie the Giants have
only given up 16 sacks going into week 16
and that is impressive by anybody’s standards and for that kind of consistency
I give them the 2012-13 NFC Best Offensive Line Award….
