Now choosing the winners for these 2 awards was tough. I don’t
watch much offensive line work during a game. I am normally busy watching what
the skill players are doing. And as for the Wide Receiver position. Can anyone
even name someone who should be nominated for the award in the AFC. Calvin
Johnson has been the NFL’s best wideout all season long but fortunately for
Andre Johnson he doesn’t play in the AFC so this award is his for the taking. He
has been consistent and amazing for years and just like Arian Foster he has
been the reason that the Texans offense has remained one of the top in the NFL…
2012-13 AFC Best Wide
Receivers (Houston Texans WR Andre Johnson): Andre Johnson has done this season what he
has done for the past 2-3 seasons. Over 1200 yards receiving and at least 10 TD’s
make him yet again the best WR in the AFC. He is dynamic , big-bodied and he
has great hands, he reminds me of Michael Irvin and Terrel Owens wrapped up
into one. But the one thing I can be sure of is that he will continue to
terrorize the AFC and the NFL’s cornerbacks for years to come. But for today he
iw Double K’s AFC Best WR…
2012-13 AFC Best
Offensive Line (Denver Broncos O-Line): This award is handed out to the
offensive line that protected their QB the best this season. How do you know
they did that? When the QB is spending more time hitting receiver’s than on his
back then you are doing a good job. Payton Manning has only been sacked 16
times this season and he has been hitting his group of over achieving wideouts
all season long. But these boys are getting the job done and from that they
will take the AFC’s award for Best O-Line in the Conference…
