Position: Center

Starter: JJ Hickson (12.0ppg, 10.5rpg, 0.6bpg)

Backup(s): Meyers Leonard (R, 4.7ppg, 3.6rpg, 0.9bpg), Joel Freeland (2.2ppg, 1.8rpg, 0.3bpg)

Synopsis: This was a team that was left with a gaping hole with the loss of Greg Oden. They went out and signed JJ Hickson away from Sacramento Kings. He looks to be a solid replacement so far averaging a double-double on the season. He may not get you a 20 and 10 game every game. But he can give you 15 and 11 on a regular basis. That will be good enough o compete in the West. They drafted rookie Center Leonard and he has a lot of promise and Freeland came eat up minuets in games where the victory is too far out of reach or well in hand. But the key will still be Hickson’s ability to remain consistent and be a presence in the paint for the Blazers…
