2012-13 Portland TrailBlazers: Position by Position Breakdown…

Position: Power Forward

Starter: LaMarcus Aldridge (21.0ppg, 8.0rpg, 1.3bpg)

Backup(s): Jared Jefferies (1.1ppg, 1.2rpg, 0.2bpg), Luke Babbit (4.3ppg, .1rpg, 0.5apg)
Synopsis: This is a position that the Blazers are very strong at. Aldridge has been one of the premiere Forwards in the League the past couple of years. And this year doesn’t look to be any different  from previous years. Aldridge is giving the team 20 and 8 out of the Forward position and his backups have experience and can even spot start to give LaMarcus rest when it is necessary. Jefferies has had many years in Phoenix to learn how to be there when his team needed him which is what is expected of him here in Portland. Same with Luke Babbit he is a experienced player who knows how to step up his game when necessary and given his opportunity. Look for the Blazers to compete at this position with the best in the league….
