2012-13 Portland TrailBlazers: Position by Position Breakdown…

Position: Small Forward

Starter: Nicolas Batum (15.8ppg, 5.6rpg, 3.7apg)

Backup(s): Victor Clever (1.1ppg, 1.4rpg, 0.6apg), Will Barton (R, 2.4ppg, 1.3rpg, 0.4apg)

Synopsis: This one is a difficult one being that none of these guys have made a real big impression on me over their career. But Batum has seemed to be a serviceable Small Forward and he as well looks to have a big upside. If put on the court with the right team, young, athletic and running a fast offense. So he seems to have found the right fit to maximize his skill. Clever was drafted a couple of years ago but just recently reached the states after playing overseas for a couple of years so he will need tim to adjust and find his true place on this team.  Barton is another young kid with a lot of upside but he is going to need time to grow into his place in the NBA but look for him to have impact off the bench for the next couple of years…
