Week 9 Preview: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-4) vs. Oakland Raiders (3-4)…

The Raiders are coming into this game on hot streak having beat the Jaguars and the Chiefs in consecutive weeks. The streak should continue this week against the Buc’s. The Raiders are looking like the better team in almost every facet of the game. Carson Palmer is looking like his chemistry with his young group of Wide Receivers is growing by the game as they continue to put up gaudy numbers. The running game needs some improvement as McFadden didn’t perform well last week but he did perform well enough he needs to keep it up to keep this going. Now to the Grades…

Game #8 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Oakland Raiders

Offense: TB B/OAK B-: After last weeks big division win the Raiders look to ride the offensive wave from last week. What we are hoping for is a good balance between Palmer and the running game. This has been a weak point or chink in the armor of the solid offense being played in Oakland these days. Mc Fadden cant seem to get off the ground and his backup isn’t getting enough carries. Now maybe they can begin to use McFadden correctly you have got to set up the run correctly if the Raiders do that they have a chance to win this game and I think they will…

Defense: TB C/OAK C+: The defense hasn’t exactly been tops in the NFL in recent weeks. But they have played well enough to keep the Raiders in the game. This is what needs to happen again this week. Tampa Bays offense is hot right now and the Raiders cannot afford to let the arm of Josh Freeman or the ground game for the Buc’s get going. If that happens this is going to become a shoot out quickly and I don’t think this defense can keep up. But if they can keep that part of the Buc’s offense in check they have a solid shot at winning this game….

Final Score : Raiders 28, Buccaneers 24
