Week #12 Review: Oakland Raiders (3-8) vs. Cincinnati Bengals (6-5)…

The Oakland Raiders just cant seem to catch a break they get the Bengals into town a team that they should have matched up pretty well with and they go for a season low in passing yards and not much on the ground either as they only amass 10 total points in the game. Carson Palmer looked like a rookie out there and not in a good way. He seemed like he didn’t know how to run the offense. Not to take anything from the Cincinnati defense but the Raiders didn’t exactly look like they were bringing their A game this particular Sunday. Now on the opposite side of the field Andy Dalton had pretty much perfect day. Throwing for over 200+ yrds 3 TD’s and no INT’s this kid looked like a vet out there….

Game #11 – Oakland Raiders at Cincinnati Bengals

Offense: C (C.Palmer 19/34 146yrds 1TD 1INT, M.Reece 15/74yrds, D.Moore 1/20yrds 1TD): The day seemed to drag on for the Raiders offense as they tried to move the ball against the Bengals defense.  Marcel Reese look good in limited carries but he couldn’t even really get the ball rolling against this tough Bengals defense that decided to show up against the Raiders. Carson Palmer threw for a season low 146 yrds and could only found the end zone once. That to me is a reason for the Raiders to start looking at the possibility of bringing in Tyrell Pryor… No! Look Palmer will pull it back in and lead this offense to some victories and maybe play spoiler this is just one game….

Defense: C- (Passing Yrds All. 210yrds, Rushing Yrds All. 221yrds, 0TO): The defense was just abysmal and that is being kind. They allowed over 400+ total yards of offense. For a single game they made Andy Dalton look like Joe Montana and AJ Green look like Jerry Rice. They just threw it all over the field on the Raiders defense. While the seemingly overrated Raiders front 7 couldn’t stop the Bengals running game. The lawfirm Benjarvis Green-Ellis looked good out there as he pushed for 100+ yards in the game. If the Raiders want to win a couple of games before the season is over this defense has to play better than this. Call me captain obvious but they do!!...

Final Score: Bengals 34, Raiders 10

Overall: C
