Week 12 Preview: Week San Francisco 49ers (7-2-1) vs. New Orleans Saints (5-5)…

Im not going to sit here and act like the Saints aren’t the hottest team in football. They have won 5 of their last 6 games and are just really getting heated up. To top that the 40ers are traveling to the Super Dome in Louisiana. To top that off we have the QB controversy that is brewing in San Fran and that the Head Coach (Jim Harbaugh) is fueling every chance he gets. You know sometimes I wonder if Harbaugh is the one that Is leaking these reports to throw the opposing tema off their game plan. Something that is going to be difficult to do to a team as regimented as the Saints are. Not to mention that the Saints owe the 49ers payback after losing to them in Candlestick last year in the playoffs…

Game #11 – San Francisco 49ers at New Orleans Saints

Offense: SF: B+/NO: A-:  This is one area of the game that is going to be interesting to watch. We have the 49ers who have something to think about after 2nd year QB Colin Kapernick had an amazing performance against the Bears defense that was once considered best in the NFL. And we have the Saints who started the season flat and looked to be headed to the cellar after 4 games and looked to be out of the playoff race after 6 games. And then the QB (Drew Brees) and a offense just turned it on the Saints won a couple of games and got back to .500, mainly because of their veteran QB turning his season around.  Who will start for the 49ers it looks like Jimmy is going to make us wait till game day to find out who will be under center for the 49ers…

Defense: SF: A-/NO: B-: The defense on the other hand has been consistent for San Francisco, they played extremely well against the Bears and their backup QB Jason Campbell. But Jason Campbell is not Drew Brees and the Bears don’t have the stable of receivers that the Saints have. The 49ers defense will be challenged a lot more this week than last. But I think they can step up to the challenge. The last time these two teams met they 49ers defense held Brees and the high powered Saints offense to 23 points. But that was at home this time they will be in Saintsville in the Dome and the crowd will be loud. Can they be successful? Only Sunday will tell…

Final Score: 49ers 35, Saints 28
