Week 11 Review: Chicago Bears (7-3) vs. San Francisco 49ers (7-2-1)…

This game was billed as a battle of the titans! And I just like everyone else was we expecting to see to very good defenses slug it out in Candlestick Park. Thats what it was supposed to be… The thing it wasn’t supposed to be was a one sided victory for either team. Then we came to Monday night and what the game actually was. A one sided victory for the San Francisco 49ers. The vaunted Chicago Bears defense is the best in the league and the 49ers were running their backup QB in this game. Colin Kapernick got his 1st start of his career and he made the best of it and made a really great case for him to start the rest of the season as he took advantage of pretty much every opportunity given to him to put points up on the scoreboard. The kid looked great but Alex will most likely start but for now we have a QB controversy in San Francisco…

Game #10 – Chicago Bears at San Francisco 49ers

Offense: A- (C.Kapernick 16/23 243yrds 2TD’s, F.Gore 17/78yrds, V.Davis 6/83yrds 1TD): The second year QB came out looking like he was a starter his whole career. The kid tore apart a defense that been a turnover machine for the last couple of weeks and had the Bears in the Super Bowl talk. And probably will still be… But tonight the 49ers offense was as efficient as it has ever been this season. And with the backup QB in there none the less, Colin Kapernick proved that he earned his spot on this team and will be the starting QB of the future for the San Francisco 49ers. As for tonight this was his time to shine and shine he did as a master of Jim Harbaughs offense….

Defense: A (Passing Yrds All. 58yrds, Rushing Yrds All. 85yrds, 2TO’s): The defense on the other hand has been in the top 2 all season long in most statistical categories. So we expected a good game from them but o hold the Bears to less than 160 total yards of offense. Not many teams have been able to do that to anybody this season. The Bears offense looked more lost than usual as the 2nd year lineman Aldon Smith racked up 4.5 sacks on Jason Campbell. The Bears offensive line was just dominated all game long. This was one of those game that the coaches will be using week after week to show them exactly how good they could be on any given Sunday…

Final Score: 49ers 32, Bears 7

Overall: A
