Week 10 Preview: St.Louis Rams (3-5) vs. San Francisco 49ers (6-2)…

Now the 49ers have seemed to play better and better every week since the drubbing that they took in Week 6 at the hands of the Super Bowl champion New York Giants. Against the Seahawks they played just well enough to beat em. Against the Cardinals they looked as if they were playing almost perfect on both sides of the ball. Now they have had a well deserved bye week and they come back healthy confident and ready to play. Can the Rams who are getting used to winning under Jeff Fisher look like they may have to wait another year before they truly put it all together. But with Sam Bradford and Stephen Jackson on the same team you always have a chance…

Game #9 – St.Louis Rams at San Francisco 49ers

Offense: STL B-/SF B+: The offense can’t really play too much better than it did in the last game it played in. Alex Smith looked phenomenal throwing only one incompletion all game and throwing 3 touchdowns to no interceptions. Frank Gore pretty much ran where he wanted to. Heck even Randy Moss got involved catching a 47 yard TD. This week shouldn’t be much different the Rams have a solid defense and they always seem to play the 49ers hard. But this week this is the 3rd straight game against a division opponent and the 49ers are doing well in every one. This will be a great game for the 49ers offense it should be fun to watch…

Defense: STL C+/SF A-: The defense played like champions against a very weak Cardinals offense, that seemed confused at times. If they can continue that it should result in a complete domination of the Rams offense. The blitzes that Vic Faggio will throw at the young QB Bradford will confuse him and force turnovers frequently. The key point  is going to be the 49ers front 7 is the Smith’s and Sopoaga  can give the Rams o-line fits all day that will free up Willis and Bowman to wreak havoc on Bradford and Jackson all game long.  The defensive backs in the NIners backfield will be able to cover this group of Rams receivers but we may see at least one go for 100 yards. But the 49ers will keep them out of the end zone mark my words…

Final Score: 49ers 28, Rams 9
