2012-13 Sacramento Kings: Position By Position Breakdown…

Position: Center

Starter: DeMarcus Cousins (15.3ppg, 8.0rpg, 1.0bpg)

Backup(s): Chuck Hayes (2.3ppg, 6.7rpg, 1.7bpg)

Synopsis:  This is another position where the Kings have a lot of talent but not a lot of depth. They only have 2 centers on roster and both are very skilled. Cousins the starter  is young and definently still developing as a center. He has a big body and a lot of skill at scoring the basketball. I think at his peak he will be a 20/10 guy for the Kings. He has a lot of potential and will continue to grow this season as he becomes a perennial all star. Chuck Hayes is a veteran center who has been in the league a couple of years and will make a serviceable backup to Cousins and a good filler when they need a spot starter or a matchup starter. But I will leave that up to the amazing Keith Smart…..
