2012-13 Sacramento Kings: Position by Position Breakdown…

Position: Power Forward

Starter: Jason Thompson (7.3ppg, 5.7rpg, 2.0bpg)

Backup(s): Thomas Robinson (Rookie)

Synopsis: The Kings only have 2 players at the Power Forward position. Yet they are still more athletic and talented than a lot of the NBA teams out there. First up you have the phenom Jason Thompson I call him that because the man has all the potential in the world. He is a great Power Forward and can eventually become a 15ppg,10rpg guy and those are starting numbers out of a forward.  He is also pretty versatile being able to be used as a Center as well with a 6’11” makes him valuable to the team. Now the rookie Robinson was the 5th pick in the NBA draft and he deserved it he will make the starting lineup sooner than later and don’t think the kid has a ceiling I think however coach smart needs to use him will be what he dose but the kid can score and will even at the NBA level. Just give him a year or 2 to get used to the speed of the NBA. And he has a great mentor to learn from in Thompson…
