Position: Point Guard
Starter: Isaiah
Thomas (15ppg, 1.0rpg, 1.5apg)
Backup(s): Aaron
Brooks (3.5ppg, 1.5rpg, 1.0apg), Jimmer Ferdette (3.0ppg, 0.5rpg, 0.5apg)
Synopsis: When
you look at the statistics you wouldn’t think that the Kings have a very strong
depth at this position. You start with Isaiah Thomas a young kid with a lot of
potential leads this group of young guards. He averaged about 15ppg last season
and was a big part of some Kings wins throughout the season. Aaron Brooks is a
pure shooter who can work the perimeter and drive the lane well. He will get
his minuets but what will he do with them. Jimmer Ferdette is a young shooter
that has struggled out of the gate in his career. And has fell to 3rd
on the depth chart but as long as he continues to hit the gym and work on his
game he can be a spot starter and a great 6th man option for the
Kings down the road something that they will need to continue to grow as a team….
