2012-13 Los Angeles Lakers: Position by Position Breakdown…

Position: Small Forward

Starters: Metta World Peace (13.6ppg, 5.1rpg, 1.9apg)

Backup(s): Devin Ebanks (2.5ppg, 2.0rpg, 0.8apg)

Synopsis: At the small forward position the Lakers really didn’t make a lot of move this offseason. They kept World Peace around and also managed to get Devin Ebanks to be his backup. The thing about Metta World Peace is that he is a pretty consistent scorer and defender. It is the main thing that has kept him on a lot of teams. Despite his off the court issues, he has manged to become quite the basketball player in recent years. And once again this year he will continue to play well for the Lakers in their pursuit of another NBA title. Devin Ebanks is a project player that will be able to soak up a lot of knowledge form the many veteran players that are surrounding him. The kid has a lot of upside and will be the future starter for the Los Angelels Lakers. For now he just sits on the bench and takes his minuets when he can get them and be a standout bench player for now…
