The Oakland Raiders seem to be on a roll as of late. Winning
back to back games can be the start of something special and they don’t have a
very difficult schedule the rest of the way. But back to this week where the Oakland
Raiders looked dominant for pretty much the entire game. For once Carson looked
comfortable in the pocket for the entire game and he put up some good numbers.
McFadden put up his second consecutive good game where he looked like the back
that we expect to see. As for the Wideouts they were very efficient and put up
a couple of scores. Now to the grades…
Game #7 – Oakland
Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs
Offense: B+ (C.Palmer
14/28 209yrds 2TD 1INT, D.McFadden 29/114yrds, D.Moore 5/96yrds 1TD): The offense
was effective all game long. Mcfadden seemed to be able to move the ball on the
ground at will. Which allowed for the passing game to get going something that
the offense really hasn’t had too much of a chance to do this season. And they
looked good so lets see if they can keep that ball running and make a run at
the division title. If Palmer can keep his INT’s down then the Raiders will succeed
that is just a fact jack…
Defense: B+ (Passing
Yrds All. 219yrds, Rushing Yrds All. 102yrds, 4TO): The Defense played like
it had a chip on its shoulder. And it should they had been embarrassed for a
couple of weeks prior to the Falcons game. But for the last 3 weeks the defense
has allowed the team to stay in the game and Carson Palmer to have an opportunity
to get the Raiders a win. This defense will be huge in a possible playoff run,
if they continue to play the way they did against Kansas City then the Raiders
are going to be a dangerous team from here on out…
Final Score: Raiders
26, Chiefs 16
