Week 8 Preview: Oakland Raiders (2-4) vs Kansas City Chiefs (1-5)…

This is the game that could be a classic trap game for the Raiders. They need to not come in overconfident. They almost ended the Falcons unbeaten run and managed to finish the comeback against the Jaguars. Can they keep the ball rolling and get back into the division race. These are all questions that present themselves to the Raiders entering this game. Will they answer the many bells that are being rung for them. I think that the Raiders can I don’t think that the Raiders are dead in the water. Because there is a lot of talent on this squad and we have yet to see what they can really do… Now to the Grades…

Game #7 – Oakland Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs

Offense: OAK B/KC C-: The Raiders offense looked great almost all game last week. The only weak point is the offensive line and that is just because they are still learning this new zone blocking scheme. But overall the offense is a work in progress, they will continue to get better week by week. McFadden needs more open lanes in order to be effective maybe the Raiders can try to get him the ball in protected areas on screens ect… But the end point is that in order to continue to win and to continue to push towards the playoffs or a division title they need the ball in the hands of Darren McFadden…

Defense: OAK B/KC C-: The defense is kind of where the Raiders shined late last week. After making Matt Ryan and company look human late in the game the week before. Last week they end up taking out the starting QB and RB of the Jaguars in the 1st series of the game the defense then allowed Chad Henne and company to keep pace thy need to play a little better and I believe that they will. There is loads of talent on the defense but can it gel fast enough for the Raiders to make a run. The defensive line has been pretty consistent all season long and as long as they stay healthy they should keep pace we will see…

Special Teams: OAK B+/KC C: Once again the Raiders have the better special teams unit! Surprise, Surprise, Surprise… look Janko and Lechler are the best tandem of kickers in the NFL period care to argue with me fine look like an idiot. This is where they will shine and win this very necessary game in Kansas City…

Final Score: Raiders 17, Chiefs 3
