Week 5 Preview: Buffalo Bills (2-2) vs San Francisco 49ers (3-1)…

Welcome back class today we are once again in preview mode. This week we are going to preview the Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers game that is going to take place on Sunday. The Bills are traveling to San Fran. after taking a beat down in Week 4 at the hands of the Patriots, and are still looking to get healthy at the running back position. The 49ers defense is coming in extremely hot after forcing 6 turnovers in New York last week. So I wonder how the Bills are going to handle the defense that Mark Sanchez and the boys couldn’t? Can Alex Smith rebound from the bad game against the Jets? We will see on Sunday till then…the grades…

Week #5 – Buffalo Bills at San Francisco 49ers

Offense: SF: B-/BUF: C: The 49ers offense struggled in the passing game last week but were able to overcome it with solid defense and running the ball well. I think the same formula can work for the 49ers this week. If they can just control the clock by running the football against a strong front 7of the Bills they should be fine. As for the Bills they had a lot of struggles last week against a good Patriots defense. But they are not the 49ers defense at all. I think they will struggle again this week in a 49ers win…

Defense: SF: A-/BUF: C+: The defense of the 49ers was at its peak last week. Forcing 6 total turnovers and making the Jets defense look like a high school team on the field. And after the struggles of last week against the Patriots the Bills look to struggle again against a very good 49ers defense.  As for Buffalo they will come out angry after being torched for 35 points in the 2nd half against the Patriots. So look for Buffalo to come out swinging but also look for Jim Harbaugh to have answers for the Bills blitz cheams…

Special Teams: SF: B+/BUF: B-: With the return of return specialist Ted Ginn Jr the 49ers look to improve on recent weeks. David Akers will still be stout as well as Andy Lee. 2 of the best kickers in the league. The Bills have an average kicking squad by comparison and I don’t expect them to play much of a factor in this game…

Final Score: 49ers 35, Bills 21
