2012-13 Golden State Warriors: Position by Position breakdown…

Position: Power Forward

Starter (Projected): David Lee (20.1ppg, 9.6rpg, 0.4bpg)

Backups: Carl Landry (12.5ppg, 5.2rpg, 0.3bpg), Draymond Green (Rookie), Jeremy Tyler (4.9ppg, 3.3rpg, 0.5bpg)…

Synopsis: This is a position that the Warriors are pretty stocked up at.  Lets start with the starter (no pun intended) David Lee. He has not quite lived up to the season that got him the big contract in Golden State a couple of years back. But he has been a huge part of the offense and now has a frontcourt mate that can match him in rebounding ability and passing the ball.  So expect Lee to put up similar numbers to this year but with Carl Landry to eat up valuable bench minuets this tandem should frustrate their fair share of Power Forwards in the NBA this year. As for Draymond Green and Jeremy Tyler they have 2 amazing veterans to learn from in Landry and Lee not to mention either will be able to step in should the injury bug bit the Warrior big men again this season. But as long as they stay healthy the Warriors have a frontcourt to be reckoned with…
