Synopsis: The Warriors have a legit backcourt at the
Point Guard position for the 1st time in awhile. Just like they have
true depth and talent at the center position. But we will get to that in a
little while. Today we are talking about the Point Guard position. At that
position the Warriors have 2 capable veterans in Curry and Jarrett Jack. Curry is
a lil younger and has a strong game but he just cant seem to stay healthy
(going down recently again with an ankle injury). That is what plagued him all
of last season he couldn’t stay on the court for longer than 10 game stretches
at a time. This is where the signing of JJ is so huge for the Warriors. They
finally have a backup Point Guard who is established and has a NBA mind. (Jack
used to start for the Hornets after Paul left for LA.) You combine that with the fact that Mark
Jackson is a former NBA Point Guard and can help groom these guys into All Stars
says that the Warriors have made some positive moves for the future of this
team because Jack can help give Curry much needed rest when necessary. Thereby
extending the NBA life of the young Point Guard for this team that desperately needs
consistency at that poition…
