This time we are going to preview the Oakland Raiders and the San Diego Chargers who are going to lock horns in Oakland on Monday. This should be a good battle most Raider/Charger games are. Both teams have good QB’s and solid Defenses so lets get to the grades…

Game #1 – Oakland Raiders vs San Diego Chargers

Offense: OAK A-/SD: B+: The Raiders offense looks to shine in this game San Diego’s defense is not as strong as in recent years. So Carson Palmer may be able to use his young receiving core to their potential and run up the score a little. As for San Diego Phillip Rivers looked a lil shaky during the preseason lets hope he shake some of them by game time…

Defense: OAK B+/SD: B-:  Both Defenses are strong and have great talent on the line and in the line backing core. But the Raiders have the advantage here their 1st team defense looked very sharp in the preseason giving hope to Raiders fans everywhere. Whereas the Chargers defense looked poor all preseason and they showed no depth in the finale against the 49ers…

Special Teams: OAK A-/SD: B+: The Raiders will always have the advantage over most opponents in this category because Janakowski and Lechler are two of the best Special Teams specialist in football. Janko’s leg may decide this game as it has so many others. The Chargers have a solid kicker but they lack the return threat the Raiders have in Jacoby Ford. Advantage Silver and Black…
