Welcome back students today we are going to talk about
opinion. These are something that anyone and everyone can have. They don’t
necessarily have to agree with each other. Everyone is entitled to have their
own. But this particular opinion I happen to agree with 100%. The “opinion”
came from Dwayne Wade 2 time NBA Champion. The 9 year NBA vet. And a man whos
“opinion” I completely respect although I have never met the man. The opinion
that he expressed was that his brother-in-arms was way behind MJ and had a ways
to go before he reached that level…
Now
this is not only one man’s opinion a lot of fan’s in the basketball world
believe the same thing. LeBron as great as he is is not the next big thing
quite yet. There is still the last big thing in Kobe Bryant and he is not
wholly at the “Jordan level” either. The fact of the matter is that even Kobe
will never truly reach that level. The reason I say this is because Jodan won
his 6 titles in 8 years and one of the 2 years he didn’t he had taken a year
off to play another sport. The league has not seen that type of dominance since
the “Jordan Era” Bulls of the 90’s. And even though Kobe may reach and surpass
Jordan in overall titles until he has a run like that it will never truly be
better. Now LeBron can still reach that type of dominance with this Heat team
if they manage to stay together. This team has a chance to make it to a couple
more finals before the up and coming teams knock them off. The Thunder are
definitely capable of doing that but probably wont for another 2-3 years. Now
the Lakers may have come up with enough fire power to get it done but I don’t think
they are beating the Thunder so that a mute point. So back to LeBron remember
once they gave the Bulls the final piece that Jordan needed they went on their
historic run. Can the Heat duplicate that this man believes so….
Well
students for now lets just squash all the G.O.A.T. debates about LeBron and sit
back and enjoy the years of great basketball that is ahead of us. I know I will
be firmly in my seat with my eyes firmly on tv. You should be too... Till then
